Small Groups & Classes at New Life Church

Currently Suspended Due to COVID-19 Restrictions

New Life Church sponsors classes and small groups throughout the year at various times that gather for fellowship, Bible studies, topical studies, and prayer. Classes offer educational opportunities for learning more about the Christian faith, the Christian life, and involvement in the church, often meeting at the Brunswick Center at Calabash. Small Groups are groups of twelve or fewer individuals designed to give participants a chance to discuss the Bible and topics related to the Christian faith in an informal, more participatory and interactive setting, usually meeting in homes throughout the Brunswick community. Check out future or current opportunities below and contact us through our contact New Life Church link if you'd like to participate.

Men's Fellowship Group

John Stark and Gary Weibl lead a Men's Fellowship Group with the goal of encouraging one another to glorify God through serving Jesus by using the Spiritual gifts given us when we first believed. If you are interested in being part of this group, please 1) put your name on the sign up sheet at the welcome table, 2) fill out a participation card and write in "Men's Fellowship Group" on the "other" line, or 3)  Go to the “contact New Life Church” link, submitting your contact info and commenting that you would like to sign up for the Men's Fellowship Group.

Life Explored Small Groups

We're excited about the continuation of a new small group series that began in Fall 2019 called the EXPLORED series. The EXPLORED series is a three-course curriculum that explores the good news of the gospel, the gift of new life that God has given us through it, and the power and shape of Christian discipleship. In February we began meeting in small groups in homes throughout our area (daytime & nighttime groups) for the second course in the series, Life Explored. We believe that this series can transform our lives, our church, and our community as we deepen our understanding of the gospel, experience its power, and share it with our neighbors.

Enlistment for participation in this series of 2020 Small Groups is completed. To sign up for our next series of groups (dates TBD), please do one of the following:

  • Fill out the visitor’s and participation card at the Sunday morning worship service, providing your contact information, then go to the “other” line and write “2020 Small Groups."

Please prayerfully consider participating in this small group opportunity.
